M's Halloween Party at School Oct. 2010

A few days before Halloween, M had a party at school.
She was excited to get to wear her costume for her friends.
They ate pizza and took us to see their art work in the preschool art show.
Then they decorated sugar cookies to eat for dessert.

M hard at work (you can tell by her tongue sticking out).
M enjoying her decorated snack.
M and her friend K looking so cute.
M had a great time celebrating with her friends.
Happy Halloween.

Just before Halloween we went to a near by Corn Maze with some friends.

Pretty K.
Playing in the corn box (think sand box but with corn kernels).

The girls hanging out on top of the hay bales.

This was the big slide you could slide down.
It was fast and so much fun.
We all loved doing this one.
We definitely had a good time and will have to do this again next year.

Pumpkin Carving 2010

I know that I am really behind on posting from the Fall, but better late than never, right?

We always enjoy the tradition of carving out pumpkins.
The girls love getting messy and seeing all the seeds inside of the pumpkins.

This year they drew their own faces on their pumpkin with marker.
Then B carved them for the girls.
They were so proud of themselves.
I think they did a great job.

Finished products.

M's Hayride at School - October 2010

Back in October M went on her very first field trip.
Her class went to a farm down the road from the preschool
for a hayride and to pick out their very own pumpkin.
She was so excited.
I was so excited.

Here is M with her friend D.

M on the hayride.
M's friend K with her mom C on the hayride.
The hayride was awesome.
The owners had all kinds of scarecrows and such
set up along the ride and decorated into lots of themes.
Here was the Cabbage Patch.
While there we got to see a baby being born.
This was a little girl that the kids named Ellie.
More fun on the hayride.
M was such a hoot and kept us laughing.
Picking out a pumpkin.
I was thinking they were going to be the little ones, but I was wrong.
She picked out a big one.
She was so proud of herself.
M and T on the ride after getting the pumpkins.
I have to say that M's first field trip was a complete success.
She had such a good time.
