Two New Links
Riding the bus
Getting on the bus...
M watching them get on the bus...don't you love the face? M and I then went on a 30 minute walk. It was nice and cool out this morning...hopefully it will stay that way...makes it nicer to exercise.

First Day of School 2008
Loading up in the car to head to the school.
R heading into the school...we had to keep asking her to wait up for the rest of us.
A and R heading into the school.
A getting ready to walk into her classroom. She was excited to see another little girl in her class that also plays softball at the same park. I can only imagine that it will take about a day for them to be good friends.
A sitting at her desk. Notice that it is right by the teacher's desk. Her teacher is going to keep her there as soon as she realizes what a good helper she has at her fingertips.
I can hardly believe that this day has come. Two down, one to go. M and I have already had a busy day. Grocery store, played outside for about an hour, ate lunch, made cupcakes, vacuumed, picked up goldfish off the floor (twice), straightened the playroom, and now she is down for nap. I am now going to eat, fold laundry, finish cupcakes, make the bed, put away dishes, and maybe rest. We will see.
I am so proud of you A and R. I hope your first day of school is awesome. I love you!

Link Update
A Scrapbook of Sorts, A Self Portrait, The Brantley Bulletin, and The Dempsey Family are all great gals that I met in college. We were all involved in Campus Outreach together and had lots of fun doing crazy things and just hanging out. We all live in different areas now, so it is great to be able to catch up with them through their blogs.
The Digirolamo Family is my Phi Mu Big Sister, Holly. She is one really cool gal. She and her family live in Florida, and we have just gotten back in touch with each other after many years of not being in touch. I remember wanting her to be my Big Sister because I did not know her that well, she seemed to be totally opposite of me and really cool...however, I found out that we really did have so much more in common than I thought. She is as cool as I thought she was too.
The Holdens is the family of one of my cousisns, Denise. She and her twin sister have always been more like sisters to me and my sister than just cousins. She teaches elementary school nearby, but of course we don't get to see each other as much as we would like so it is great to keep up with her little one too.
The McGinnis Message is Jawan, one of my college roommates. We call her J-One a lot. She is a crazy gal. She and her family live about 3 hours away, so it is nice to keep up with them. Plus, she is always telling us about great deals. We lived in an apartment together for 2 years and did just about everything together. From Zax's to road trips, etc. the fun was never too far away.
The Reeder Family is a long time friend, Melissa. We literally grew up together. She and her family lived in our same neighborhood growing up. Her parents and my dad went to high school together. Her older brother, Chad, and I were in the same grade all through school. We sat together on the bus everyday, and I always cheered for his football team. Melissa and her family live right around the corner. Maybe we can finally work it out to get the little ones together for a playdate.
I hope you enjoy checking out their blogs as much as I do.
