Sliding Practice

A's All Star team had some fun sliding practice the other night.
They hosed down a tarp and the girls went to sliding.
They had a blast.

Even the younger sister and brothers had fun watching the
"big girls" slide.

Reading to R's Class

A wrote and illustrated a story that she got to share
with R's class at the end of the school year.

Here she is reading to the class.

The kindergarteners are listening so well.
They loved having a 2nd grader come to read to them.

R was especially happy.
She loves her sister and getting to show her off to her friends.

Memorial Day Parade

On Memorial Day we enjoyed our town's awesome Memorial Day Parade.
Who knew it was so huge?
We had never been, but the girls and B were in it with their All Stars' teams.
It was so much fun.
The parade lasted 1 1/2 hours.
That's a lot of floats.

Once M saw her daddy, she cried for him, so he took her along for the
rest of the parade.

Best Friends

Here is A and her best friend R!
They are enjoying their end of the year class party.
Both girls love to play some softball and will spend their summer on the fields.

...we will be at the softball field til the end of June.
A and R both made All Stars!!!
Way to go girls!
So, we will practice almost every night and have 3 tournaments...see you at the park or in July!

A's 2nd Grade Field Day

A had her 2nd grade field day last week too!
They also had the condensed version (see previous post),
but still had a great time.

Another great day of field day!

R's First Field Day

R had her first field day at school the other day.
Due to the rainy weather, they had a condensed time of
activities and relays in the gym.
Since they are in kindergarten, they don't know the difference.

M got to go and have fun too.

R's First Field Trip

R had her first school field trip a couple of weeks ago.
I got to chaperone and we had a blast.
We went to a nearby game ranch and the children had a
great time feeding and petting all the animals.

We had a good time and I love spending that precious time with her.
